Hello, I'm Kimberly. I started Twirling Treasures to share my passion for Beach Life. I grew up in Southern Indiana/Louisville Kentucky area. We vacationed frequently with family in Florida. As the saying goes, you can clean the sand off your feet, but it never leaves your soul. 

I moved to The Gulf Coast of Florida over twenty years ago and have never felt more at home. I have travelled extensively, and all of my destinations have had the beach in common. Jamaica, The Bahamas, The Cayman Islands, Belize, Honduras, The Yucatan and Baja Peninsulas, and numerous Caribbean Islands. I have wet my feet in The Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.   

As a crafter, I have been inspired by Tropical themes. Palm trees, seashells, mermaids, dolphins, sunrises, sunsets, the waves and the sand. I walked away from the corporate world to literally, sell seashells by the seashore. After a decade of working retail at gift shops on John's Pass, one of Florida's most popular seaside tourist destinations, I branched out to share my treasures at craft fairs, markets and online. Twirling Treasures displays an eclectic mix of handmade jewelry, arts and crafts, decor, knick knacks and wind spinners that reflect my love for the ocean.
